California State University, Monterey Bay is poised to become a reality.

During the year, a skeleton planning staff is simultaneously working to accomplish the following:

  • Broadening community support
  • Securing conveyance of the property and federal funding necessary for conversion
  • Obtaining required state approvals
  • Building support among key CSU constituents
  • Expanding the capacity of the planning office
  • Clarifying planning assumptions and vision
